Shrewd and aware of her blindspots. She holds big secrets. Decisive but often puts principles ahead of practicals. Tries and fails to keep firewalls between the personal and the private. Anton Tempkin may be the mission’s Science Director, but he’s about as far from the stereotypical scientist as you can get. He is passionate, arrogant, wily and thoroughly debauched. He’s also the sharpest mind on the team. Inside the dome, Tempkin wasn’t just busy with his scientific responsibilities but also spying for Russia (for reasons that are more altruistic than they first seem). A chaotic force - for both good and bad - and therefore completely unpredictable. Should have a Russian accent.

Gorski is the Head of Engineering is the boy who dreamed of the stars. He is our fears and aspirations. Our most noble hopes for tomorrow. He is a tech wunderkind with a company back in the real world worth billions. A man who never cared about money or status who is now a billionaire and enormously influential. Laid back, aggressively unstylish, warm and funny, it’s impossible not to be charmed by the man. Think of Steve Wozniak and then add a little bit of weed. Hopelessly in love with LEE.

Okafor is the Head of Security and is in a secret relationship with Strauss. As a former 3-star general, he seems vastly overqualified to babysit a bunch of scientists in the Arctic, but he knows why he is really there. While he’s a religious man who wrestles with his faith, as a soldier he is an ultimate professional. A reassuring presence to those under his care. In private he struggles with depression (given his military history) and fear of the unknown (given their new and unexpected mission). Possible UK or AUS accent.

Lee is the Chief Biologist. She is also a skilled physician whose bedside manner could best be described as blunt. Mistrustful of other people, her detachment intimidates others. She has a self-destructive streak which makes her explosive and almost as chaotic as Tempkin. Her past personal life is littered with the flaming wreckage of relationships gone horribly wrong, and she continues that tradition going forward. She grew up worshiping Strauss, who she saw as a fellow iconoclast, but the relationship soured months before we meet her. Lee is never one to shy away from challenging and questioning authority, and although that makes her incredibly difficult to get close to, she almost always makes excellent points.
