Michel is an ignorant, uneducated white man. His ignorance comes from a lack of empathy and education. His casual interactions unintentionally reinforce his racist beliefs. He is a representation and a metaphor for prejudice against Latinos within the U.S.

Dominant, entitled, and overtly aggressive, Jack (Man 1) is the primary perpetrator. He sees women as objects, as he is the physical manifestation of hostility towards migrants and becomes the sole reason for the fracture of Laura´s sense of security.

Sarcastic and complicit, Sam (Man 2) reinforces the behaviour of Jack (Man 1). He is a perpetrator of violence through his bystander approach, but his mockery and participation contribute to the fracturing of a women's identity.

Voice Actor. Julieta is Laura´s kind and caring mother who remains in Colombia. She is caring, warm and deeply rooted in Colombian traditions. She embodies emotional safety and unconditional support as most Latinas mothers do. Although she is physically distant, her voice and comforting words ground Laura during her difficult moments, making her a real safe space even if it's miles away from her.

The realtor is a polite, talkative and seemingly welcoming character. However, he is the representation of day-to-day unconscious biases. Through comments and assumptions that quickly turn into microaggressions, he introduces us to the new reality Laura will face as a minority in the U.S. He reinforces discrimination, making others aware of their positions as outsiders.

A helpless Latina student who becomes the target of racist remarks on campus. She is vulnerable in this society because of her naivety; bullied solely due to her speaking her native language. She reflects a version of Laura that is still visibly connected to her roots but is too ashamed to accept who she is.

She is confident and integrated within the university. This girl is the pure reflection of what Laura is yet to become if she keeps on hiding who she truly is. As she is a white woman who has never faced prejudice and discrimination due to who she is, her ignorance leads her to participate in racist comments.

Diana is a true Femme Fatale, she is Kevin’s girlfriend and the story’s manipulator. She manipulates both men—drugging Craig and pushing Kevin to betray him. She fuels Kevin’s insecurity and drives the central conflict, prioritizing ambition and control over morality. As the plan unravels, she becomes increasingly unstable and aggressive. In the climax, she fully crosses the line by attempting to kill Craig herself, indirectly causing Kevin’s death. She ends the story alone, her scheme collapsing.
