Parker is struggling through the recent passing of her husband, leaving her a young single mother to 6-year old Ruby. She tries to keep a brave face for her daughter, but the weight of Casey's passing weighs heavily on her. This is a woman who has lost a piece of herself, having to relearn what it's like to be on your own.

Casey is the recently deceased father of Ruby. Charismatic, warm, and deeply loving, he was taken far too young. Now, he returns one last time to say goodbye to his daughter and leave a message for his wife, hoping to give them both the closure and strength to move forward without him.
