Mary Baxter (40s–50s) – Social Worker & Bureaucratic Antagonist. Cold, rule-obsessed inspector who threatens to remove Lily and later tries to profit by handing her to Eddie. *Open to Vancouver Actors Only
Quinton
A lonely, reserved young man desperate to connect with the people around him, despite his own emotional shortcomings. His own vulnerability embarrasses him, making expressing his frustrations a difficult and painful task. Those submitting for Quinton should be well versed in both longer monologues and more improvisational, realistic dialogue.
Quinton's Dad
A well-meaning, but ultimately ineffective role model for Quinton. While he and Quinton share many of the same issues, he struggles to understand his son.
Nameless Peer
A friendly, dime-a-dozen guy just looking to have fun with his friends. Socially adept, unfocused, and unintentionally inconsiderate, he’s just about everything Quinton strives to be.

TOBY WILSON
A financially struggling college student juggling multiple jobs and medical debt. Intelligent but overlooked, socially invisible, and routinely humiliated by wealthier peers. Becomes dorm manager of Building 302—the turning point that activates the Superhero System. Qualified Stunt Coordinator will be present for all stunt scenes. Qualified Intimacy Coordinator will be involved throughout the production and present for all intimacy scenes and choreograph all movements. All intimacy scenes will be a closed set.
FRANK MORGAN
A wealthy, entitled student whose power comes from money and influence. Views people as assets and rejection as humiliation. Frank spirals from arrogance into obsession and violence when he loses control. Represents unchecked privilege and moral decay. Actor must be comfortable portraying villainous behavior with clear boundaries. Qualified Stunt Coordinator will be present for all stunt scenes.
GWEN CLINTON
A gentle, academically focused student from a financially strained family. Appears sweet and composed but harbors deep insecurity about safety and stability. Transitions from passive observer to emotionally assertive woman. Gwen is the first to trust Toby, and her growing attachment introduces emotional stakes and jealousy dynamics. She represents emotional intimacy over raw desire. Romantic scenes with male lead, kissing, sensual but non-explicit. Qualified Intimacy Coordinator will be involved throughout the production and present for all intimacy scenes and choreograph all movements. All intimacy scenes will be a closed set.
EVIE RUSSO
An athletic, confident student with martial arts training. Outwardly tough and outspoken, inwardly vulnerable and emotionally reactive. Evie shifts from skepticism to deep emotional reliance on Toby. Her arc explores control vs. surrender, pride vs. trust. She struggles with jealousy and fear of vulnerability. Martial arts movement. Slapping, defensive actions. Qualified Stunt Coordinator will be present for all stunt scenes. Qualified Intimacy Coordinator will be involved throughout the production and present for all intimacy scenes and choreograph all movements. All intimacy scenes will be a closed set.
ANGEL HIRST
A punk-styled music student with a bold exterior and guarded emotional core. Uses humor and sexuality as armor. Angel’s arc is the most dangerous. She goes from playful provocation to genuine emotional vulnerability after being kidnapped by the antagonist. Her bond with Toby is forged through survival and trust. Kidnapping sequence. Qualified Stunt Coordinator will be present for all stunt scenes. Flirtation, lap-sitting, kissing. Qualified Intimacy Coordinator will be involved throughout the production and present for all intimacy scenes and choreograph all movements. All intimacy scenes will be a closed set.
Marcus
A timid kid who prefers watching than talking. He loves running around and playing sports with his grandpa. With grandma, he enjoys playing computer games and watching her play the piano. He gets lost in made up scenarios in his head, creating stories in the activities he is doing. He is very observant, even if he doesn’t quite understand.
Frank
A stoic and stubborn man, that has a soft spot for Marcus his grandson. He is very protective of those close to him, sometimes to a fault. Catherine is his high school sweetheart and is now trying to take care of her when she is struggling. He wants to shield the boy from the reality his grandma’s struggle but has a difficult time balancing the two.
