Greek. 18-21 (to play 17). A restless teen struggling to build her own identity. When she is thrust into a position of unwanted responsibility and guilt, she decides she’ll cover up the problem and fix it herself. This secret drives her into a frenzied state of panic as her overbearing family becomes harder to deal with. Beneath her defiance, Vicky feels an emerging sense of accountability, and that caring to another may be the only way to grow up herself. Description
Greek. 9-12 (to play 10). Looking for performers who speak Greek. A little boy from a wealthy family in Greece, too innocent and sweet for this word. He doesn’t speak a word of the language in this strange new country, letting his adoring, cheek-pinching parents lead the way. His world is small and motivated by sweets and football…until a chocolate sends him into an accidental psychedelic trip that fractures his reality. Feeling the effects of the drugs at the family dinner, he becomes an agent of chaos. Through it, he finds he loves pushing Vicky’s buttons, building a sibling-like relationship with his Canadian big cousin. SENSITIVE CONTENT: SIMULATED DRUG USE. Must be available the week prior to filming for 2 days of rehearsal. LEAD

Description
Greek. Looking for performers who speak Greek. A proud Greek-Canadian mother who hides her tenderness beneath control. Her love is expressed through food and tradition, so she doesn’t understand it when her daughter starts pushing back. Highly skeptical and armed with the power of motherly instinct, she’s the only one who picks up on her daughter’s lies. However, rather than stepping into control and punishing her, she lets her daughter take the reins of her own destiny. By sitting back and watching Vicky sweat under pressure, she allows her the space to find her own way out of the problem she created… if not just for her own amusement. Must be available the week prior to filming for 2 days of rehearsal. LEAD
