Description Male, late 20s - mid 30s, Black. Jareth is a black, bearded, queer and buff man. He is tall, domineering and has a serious overtone. It is important that others take him seriously and he carries an air of having to work twice as hard to get half as far. True to his Jamaican heritage, his philosophy is ‘An Eye for an Eye’, which is not a desirable way of thinking for an HR Manager. Although he is not typically into giving handouts, he has a soft spot for Dominique. They were close in high school when he could not defend himself physically or verbally from bullying in Jamaica, for his meagre stature and suspected sexuality. Jareth eclipsed Dominique in ambition and achieved corporate success, because of his diligent work ethic and desire to prove himself worthy. As the relatively straight man in this comedy, think Don Cheadle meets Omari Hardwick. He needs to be able to pull off comedy by taking himself way too seriously when he says absolutely outlandish and diabolic things. | ||
