Comments
Performances take place at a specific established Vancouver open mic that permits phone recording. Exact venue details are provided privately to selected performers. Current performance windows are approximately 9:30 PM to 11:30 PM on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings. Performer signs up at the venue, waits until called, performs the supplied 3 to 4 minute set, obtains a complete recording, sends the footage afterward, and may leave once the performance is complete. The supplied material must be performed as written without adding/replacing jokes or going off-script. Before performing, the selected performer will sign a short electronic agreement covering payment, ownership of the supplied comedy material, filming/use of the resulting footage, and restrictions on independently posting or reusing the material.
Storyline
CrowdCue is an experimental comedy-development project operated by HWT Enterprises Inc. We are specifically seeking actors or scripted performers rather than stand-up comedians. Selected performers receive a finished 3 to 4 minute comedy set and perform it at a specific established Vancouver open mic. The purpose is to test how the same written material performs when delivered by different performers in front of a live audience. Cue cards or printed notes are permitted; memorization is not required.

Description
Performer will receive a finished 3 to 4 minute stand-up comedy set and perform it at a specific established Vancouver open mic. Material must be performed essentially word-for-word without adding or replacing jokes or substantially going off-script. Cue cards, printed pages or notes are completely fine; memorization is not required. Performer must obtain a clear phone-quality recording of the full performance and send the footage afterward. Stand-up experience is not required. This role is specifically intended for actors and scripted performers comfortable delivering supplied material as written; it is not a joke-writing, punch-up, or improvisational role.
