Description Female, 20s, open ethnicity. Deaf, speaks and uses ASL, open-minded, friendly, comfortable in her own skin, deeply musical, Noa wasn't born deaf, and used to sing in the choir directed by her mother, Michelle. Once close to her mother, Noa is now estranged, since when she became deaf due to a connective tissue disease, her mother pressured her to get cochlear implants, which Noa refuses to do. Noa is suspicious at first that Charlie and then Brit's attempts to talk to her were orchestrated by her mother, but in time, Noa begins to understand the importance of love and forgiveness.
