This is a narrative short film supported by the Directors Guild of Canada (DGC) Ontario Short Film Fund. Despite its modest budget, the film will be professionally produced with a dedicated production team and a clear festival strategy. Both ACTRA and non-union performers are welcome to apply.
Storyline
A career-driven Chinese Canadian woman postpones a long-awaited reunion with her aging mother in China, unaware that her mother is secretly sewing her a red apron as a final gift and that time is running out for them to say goodbye.
