We can accept union and non-union actors through our student agreement with ACTRA. This
is a non-paying student film and no permit is required. Actors will receive a copy of the
finished film for their demo reel.

Storyline
On the way to his wedding, Ryan is locked in a cellar with Claire, his ex-girlfriend. The confined space leads them to air out the feelings they’ve had bottled up since their messy breakup. As they argue, Claire describes how suffocating Ryan was. He accuses her of being emotionally neglectful. The fight leaves them exhausted and regretful. As their pride makes way for understanding, they share a moment of connection. As they are let out of the cellar, they understand that no matter how much they love each other, they can never be together without hurting the other.

Description Claire is Ryan’s ex-partner. She can be as kind, charmingly laid-back, and independent as she can be an argumentative, lazy, self-centered slob. She’s trying to get through the worst day of her life: the day where her best friend, Emma, marries her ex-boyfriend. To deal with the discomfort of the situation, she finds the cellar, a quiet place to smoke in peace. Her feelings towards Ryan have festered and worsened through their years apart; confronting him would allow her to let go of the bitter feeling she holds for a man that a part of her still loves.Character will be handling cigarettes, but will not be smoking.
