Mallory
Looking for actor 18+ but can play 16. Mallory was once a bright, artistic free spirit and a social butterfly, but after getting sexually assaulted by a classmate at a party, she has completely shut down. She suppresses her true self and interests in an effort to go unnoticed, has stopped trying in school, and struggles to talk about what happened. This has created distance between her and the people around her, particularly her best friend, Danielle. Mallory has developed silent resentment towards the people in her life as a result of this distance, feeling like everybody is constantly walking on eggshells around her and won’t speak to her like a normal person anymore. She expresses these emotions by regularly vandalizing an out-of-order bathroom stall at school.
Danielle
Looking for actor 18+ but can play 16. Danielle is a smart and social student who is very close with her best friend, Mallory. They’ve always understood each other well, but since Mallory was sexually assaulted at a party, things have changed. Mallory has been acting differently, and Danielle feels like she can’t connect with her anymore. She’s tried to help and has encouraged Mallory to talk to someone or get help, but this seems to push Mallory away even more. When Danielle gives her space, Mallory seems upset about this, too. Danielle is worried for Mallory wants to communicate her concerns, but she doesn’t know how and becomes avoidant, causing distance between them.
