Female, 25-40, BIPOC (MENA preferred). Mary Magdalene is fire in motion, emotional, intuitive, and fiercely alive. She enters the story carrying wounds and doubt, but also an unrelenting capacity for love. Where others choose faith, she must earn it. Her devotion is raw, her grief immediate, her questions dangerous. Over the course of the play, she transforms before our eyes: shame becoming strength, fear becoming clarity, silence becoming voice. By the end, she stands not in shadow but in flame, a woman claiming power in a world determined to deny it.

An average, nerdy kid not too high on the social ladder at school but wants more than anything to be accepted by the cool crowd. Has a knack for making people laugh. Not involved in any sports and spends most of his time playing video and board games with his two best friends.

The most popular girl at school. Genuinely sweet, mature and confident for her age. She’s looking for something different with her social group and in dating which is why she gives Will a shot. She needs to learn to stand up for herself more especially around her alpha male ex-boyfriend, Roman.

Will’s long time best friend. Dorky yet street smart. Has Will’s back but warns him that he’s a bit out of his league with Jessica.

The top alpha male at school. Had dated Jessica off and on in the past and still has feelings for her. Not ok with an upstart like Will on his turf and looks to knock him back down.

Jessica’s bestie. Popular and very insecure. She opposes Jessica dating someone like Will. Also has a mad crush on Roman.

Friend of Will and Kevin. The biggest nerd of the group and proud of it. Could care less about social standing in school.

Roman’s right-hand man. Large, imposing and callous.

One of Roman’s cronies. Not the sharpest tool in the shed but big and mean so no one messes with him.

Cares deeply for his son and wants to regain his connection with Will after the divorce from his mother.

Will’s Dad’s new girlfriend. Friendly but senses Will’s dislike of her.

The girl Will is set up with at the end. A much better match than Jessica. She’s attracted to his weirdness.

Jared’s date to Prom.

Kevin’s date to Prom.

Strong Supporting Role. Need an actor/actress to play 5-6 years old. Quiet, observant, and used to waiting. She watches more than she speaks. She’s too young to understand everything, but old enough to sense when something isn’t right. Her presence grounds the film emotionally. She’s not just someone to protect, but someone who, in her own small way, reveals the cracks in the world around them.
