Emma
Ryan’s girlfriend of four years who appears at the Diwali party. Confident and warm, she’s unaware of the romantic tension she’s walking into. A small but impactful role requiring an actress who can convey a gut punch.
Female Vocalist
VOICE ONLY. A recording vocalist for two songs featured in the film. Ideally, a voice that can effectively portray the vulnerability and resolve of a college student dreamer, as well as the anger and hurt faced once her dream world is shattered. Note: Studio voice-work. Hindi required.
Papa
VOICE ONLY. Simran’s deceased father who appears only through voicemail. Gentle and wise, he represents the connection to home and family that Simran has lost. A voice-over only role requiring an actor who can convey paternal affection. Note: Studio voice-over. Hindi required.
ELLA
White American female. Imposing presence, intelligent, and perceptive. A worldly woman, she is a piano teacher and full-time governess to Mr. Fisher’s son, whom she cares for with motherly devotion. Polished, elegant, and an excellent conversationalist. Role requires native English fluency.

Ever the rule abider, Wilson can be a bit of a nervous nelly. Probably the last person to be picked in a dodgeball game. CAUCASIAN

Can play the role of Male, 43, the first born of a real estate magnate, and strangely evasive, he doesn't seem to grasp the severity of the situation when asked by the news media about the drafting of an apology by his real estate company. Even the fact that his own brother is being held hostage by an armed man does not have any impact on his responses. He's not a man to be rushed. CAUCASIAN
EFFIE
Can play the role of Female, 60, arthritic, seen with a walker, she is Tony's sister who lives alone in a trailer park. Reclusive and not sociable, she finally opens up to Ginny about how her brother scammed her out of her money. Effie is formidable in her own right. Once an aspiring journalist herself, she reads two newspapers a day. She is quick-witted with a biting tongue. CAUCASIAN
A.D.A. MARTZ
Can play the role of Male, 40s, this A.D.A. gets verbally combative with Ruckelshaus regarding his defence of allegedly corrupt cops. He's the Penn of Penn & Teller. Voluble and combative in contrast to the always quiet Rimstadt (Teller). CAUCASIAN
DETECTIVE HART
Can play the role of Male, he is a detective on hand at the apartment complex, the site of the ongoing hostage situation. He unwittingly opens up to Ginny, telling her that Tony isn't really a bad guy, also mentioning a falling-out with Tony and his sister... CAUCASIAN
M.L. HALL
Can play the role of Male, he is Dick's father, owner of Meridian Mortgage. Gravelly-voiced, careful with his words, dismissive of the fact that his son is being held hostage, he makes it very clear that he will not be apologizing. Ever. Taciturn. Steely. Runs the family with an iron fist. CAUCASIAN
PEARL
Can play the role of Female, this octogenarian with big glasses and always a pack of unfiltered Pall Malls in her housecoat pocket, allows some of the press to use her apartment (situated across the street from the site of the hostage situation) as a base of operation... CAUCASIAN
A.D.A. DAVID RIMSTIDT
Can play the role of Male, 38, he is the A.D.A. working with A.D.A. Martz on the case which alleges police corruption. He is the Teller, of Penn and Teller. Although he says nothing, his face is very expressive like he wants to say something but cannot. CAUCASIAN
OFFICER VIOLA
Can play the role of Male, this officer with the bomb squad gets confirmation that the building is rigged with explosives... CAUCASIAN
Margaret
This character walks with a cane. Sensitive, perceptive, and emotionally vulnerable. She’s deeply frustrated with her husband Alan's emotional distance and obsession with work, but she’s also persistent in trying to connect with him. She values intimacy and honesty in her marriage, which makes his neglect and betrayal cut deeply.
Alan
Defensive, distracted, emotionally withdrawn. He’s more committed to his career and an affair than his marriage, which makes him evasive and dismissive toward his wife, Margaret. He avoids confrontation until pressured, then lashes out with brutal honesty initiating a divorce.
Gas Station Person
The Gas Station Person is gentle, helpful, comforting. He represents safety and normalcy.
Lead Cultist
The Lead Cultist is calm, controlled, sadistic. Speaks only in whispers, heightening their menace. Their power lies in psychological manipulation, forcing Alan into an impossible moral dilemma.
