GREG ASHWORTH
Caucasian. Daisy’s uncle. A refined monster. Obsessed with Daisy’s mother in his youth, he engineered the “accident” that killed Daisy’s parents and took Daisy in as his ward. Beneath his gentlemanly facade is a controlling, perverse need to own everything — especially Daisy. Acting notes: Villainy through charm and restraint, not shouting. **Open to Vancouver Actors ONLY
CAMILA ASHWORTH
Caucasian. Greg’s wife. Sharp features, sharp tongue. She knows her husband’s heart was never hers and directs that jealousy at Daisy. Hypocritical, unstable, and cruel, she maintains the “proper family” image while emotionally torturing the girl in her house. Acting notes: Can flip between social politeness and vicious attacks in a beat. **Open to Vancouver Actors ONLY
KARA ASHWORTH
Caucasian. Daisy’s cousin. Spoiled, impulsive, and vindictive. Takes pleasure in humiliating Daisy. Tone: Loud, insecure, emotional. **Open to Vancouver Actors ONLY **Must have vertical experience

Open ethnicity. Daisy’s best friend. Bright, loyal, and kind — the light in Daisy’s darkness. Tone: Natural, warm, supportive. **Open to Vancouver Actors ONLY
KANE ASHWORTH
Caucasian. Greg’s son. Polished, self-serving, and morally bankrupt. Knows how to charm, but always with an agenda. Tone: Smooth, dangerous, charming fac¸ade. **Open to Vancouver Actors ONLY
Sophie
Charismatic, free-spirited, emotionally intuitive. She’s comfortable in her skin. She is playful, magnetic, and naturally commanding in social spaces. Beneath the confidence, she’s tender and empathetic.
Kim
Grounded, sharp, and emotionally intelligent. She’s the stabilizing presence of her group. She is observant and warm, with quiet depth. Often the one who sees what others miss.
Mother
A deeply spiritual woman with a quiet strength. Loving, traditional, and poetic in presence. Carries the bittersweet ache of letting her son go while holding steadfast to faith. Has to be of South Asian ethnicity.
Father
Stoic yet deeply loving. Expresses affection through silence and gestures rather than words. A man of faith, pride, and reflection. Has to be of South Asian ethnicity.
Young Omar
Curious, expressive, and sensitive. His face should carry innocence but with an undertone of awareness beyond his age. The audience needs to feel his empathy and quiet fear in the silence. Note: Has to be of South Asian ethnicity. Age range is flexible — we’re looking for actors who can believably appear around 8–11 on screen, not necessarily be that exact age. This is a non speaking role for one flashback scene of the lead character.
Young Sam
Gentle, shy, and visibly affected by his environment. Should be able to portray both fear and trust in quick transitions. Eyes do most of the storytelling here. Note: Has to be of South Asian ethnicity. Age range is flexible — we’re looking for actors who can believably appear around 8–11 on screen, not necessarily be that exact age. This is a non speaking role for one flashback scene of the lead character's best friend.
Raúl
Hombre mexicano. En su rostro se ve marcada la agresividad y hasta cierto punto la maldad. Tiene una personalidad y actitud intimidante, manipuladora y violenta. Le gusta vestir playeras de equipos de fútbol. Acusa a Fany de haber asesinado a su hermano.
Carmen
Mujer mexicana. Es la mamá de Fany, una chica que ha sido acusada injustamente y se encuentra en prisión. Es una mujer de rostro amable pero de mirada angustiada por la injusticia que atraviesa su hija. Aunque sabe contener muy bien su dolor su lucha por sacar a su hija es inminente. Está decidida a hacer cualquier cosa con tal de buscar justicia para Fany.
Magistrada Claudia Ponce
Mujer mexicana. Es una magistrada fuerte y de presencia imponente. Es reconocida por su trayectoria en el ámbito judicial. Es desgarbada, con ojeras marcadas y cabello que gusta de peinarlo hacia atrás. Viste traje sastre y siempre está impecable. Aunque enfrenta dilemas morales dentro del sistema corrupto, está interesada en poder lograr los juicios con perspectiva de género. Será pieza clave en el juicio injusto hacia Fany.
Valeria Montes
Mujer mexicana. Periodista de renombre con una presencia imponente y notable habilidad para tocar temas incómodos, se caracteriza por las mesas de debate que modera en la televisión. Es atractiva, inteligente e intuitiva que se ha ganado el respeto del gremio al que pertenece.
Mariana
Mujer mexicana. Es la amante del procurador al que apodan "El Gordo", desde años atrás es amiga de Renata. Es una mujer guapa pero sin diferenciarse mucho de las demás, le gusta traer el cabello alaciado, vestirse elegante y escotada. Aunque intenta mantener la apariencia de una mujer de la alta sociedad, en el fondo es consciente de la corrupción del procurador y del peligro que esto representa.
Cheli
Mujer mexicana. Es una reclusa con una personalidad dominante que puede parecer agresiva. Es la compañera de celda de Fany. Es astuta, ha aprendido a manipular el entorno en su beneficio. Aunque al inicio es hostil, con el tiempo muestra compasión escondida tras esa máscara.
Cuñado
Hombre mexicano. Es el esposo de Paulina, la hermana de Renata. De personalidad tranquila y empática. Es padre de 2 niños. Aunque apoya mucho a su cuñada, también teme por la seguridad de ella y principalmente de su familia. Su rol es ser la voz racional.
