LEAD MALE ROLE
30 - 40 Year Old. White or Mixed Ethnicity Man. Average, healthy build – not overly muscular or “fitness model” type. Clean-cut hair preferred. Clean-shaven or very light stubble facial hair. Creative Direction: We want someone who can feel grounded and real on camera, not staged or performative. The emotion we’re selling is authenticity—the sigh of relief, the subtle smile, the breath returning to the body. Think less ‘actor,’ more ‘real guy we instantly connect with.’ Overall Vibe: We’re looking for someone who embodies the modern, everyday man—approachable, relatable, and grounded. Think: your neighbor, your colleague, your brother-in-law—not a gym rat or wellness guru, but someone who is intentional about making better choices, especially if it's simple and convenient. Performance Requirements: This role calls for subtle, expressive physical acting rather than overt dialogue. Talent must be able to convey internal discomfort, frustration, and eventual relief all through nuanced body language and facial expression. We will be capturing emotional and physical contrast across different body zones (head, torso, legs), so performance control and physicality are key.

AVA
Age Range: late 20s/early 30s Description: Ava is smart, ambitious, and sharper than anyone gives her credit for. She rebuilt her life from the ashes after heartbreak and betrayal. Now, just as she’s finally in control, the one man who nearly destroyed her is back as her boss. Cool under pressure, but burning underneath, Ava walks the line between revenge and survival. Wardrobe: Professional, stylish (e.g. blouse, skirt or slacks, heels or polished flats). Look 2: Similar professional style but varied: maybe a dress or a blazer added, or a different blouse/pants combo.
SETH
Seth Wormwood (Lead), Male, Any Ethnicity Age Range: early 30s Description: Seth is the man everyone loves to hate. Magnetic, polished, and toxic beneath the charm. He’s always played to win, whether it’s closing the deal or breaking hearts. But this time, he’s tangled with someone who won’t play his game. Wardrobe: Fitted shirts, slacks, maybe tie or blazer some days. Look 2: Shirt sleeves rolled up, blazer off, more relaxed but still sharp
Alex
Alex is a serious, thoughtful man with a quiet intensity. He works in an office and has a sharp, focused mind — smart, reliable, and emotionally reserved. But beneath the surface, he’s going through an inner shift, a search for meaning that takes him out of his routine and onto the running trails. Running is more than a hobby for Alex — it’s his way of thinking, coping, and staying grounded. He’s in lean, athletic shape — not bulky, but built for endurance. He runs solo through city streets, forest paths, and mountain trails… until something unexpected starts to guide him. Alex is kind, but closed-off. He doesn’t easily let people in — until he does. This is a mostly non-verbal role that relies on physical presence, emotional subtlety, and inner depth. There are also scenes with a dog, so comfort with animals is essential. ?? We’re looking for a real runner — ideally someone with strong endurance or semi-professional training. ?? Acting experience is welcome but not required — we’re open to new faces with authenticity, openness, and heart.
Yvonne
Yvonne is a warm, active, and kind-hearted woman with natural charm. She’s a dedicated runner with a playful spirit and an easy smile — the kind of person who talks to strangers at the dog park. Athletic and grounded, she brings lightness and energy into Alex’s life when he needs it most. Yvonne owns a dog and enjoys early morning jogs, quiet conversations, and small acts of kindness. Important: This role requires real running, including several scenes with moderate physical activity. For logistical and creative reasons, we are specifically looking for an actress who runs regularly and has a dog she feels comfortable running with on camera. Our production is low-budget, and we won’t be hiring a separate animal handler. Previous acting experience is a plus but not required — we’re looking for authenticity, natural presence, and a genuine connection with the lead.
Coach
A man who’s clearly spent a lifetime in sports — fit, sharp, and no-nonsense. He carries himself with the quiet authority of someone who’s been through it all: training, competition, injury, recovery, and reinvention. He’s not flashy, but you can feel the discipline in his posture and the experience in his eyes. He has a dry sense of humor, a grounded presence, and a tough but fair attitude. He doesn’t waste words — just gives you what you need, when you need it. ?? Must be in good physical shape, ideally with a background in sports or fitness. ?? Acting experience is a plus, but we’re open to authentic, real people who can embody the role naturally.
